Imagine the terror and thrill of playing baseball blindfolded. That's what the competitors of The Long Island Bombers are doing each time they step up to the plate. While playing the game is their motivation, education and awareness of the surrounding communities is their true goal. At clinics and demonstrations, fans learn first hand that although players cannot "see", the competition is not any less exciting. The ability to succeed lies within all of us, no matter what the obstacles may be.
