Steve is the co-founder and current President of the Board of
Directors and is a Freeport resident who works at Independent Living
Aids. Stephen has played Beep Baseball since 1989. He is also the
Chairperson of the By Laws Committee and serves on the Board of
Directors on the National Beep Baseball Association. |

Roni Mathew

Roni is an Elmont resident and is currently Student teaching with the
new York Institute for Special Education in the Bronx. Roni is also
pursuing a Masters Degree in teaching at Hunter College. This is
Roni's fourth year playing Beep Baseball with the Bombers.

Ted Fass

Ted is the Co-founder and current Executive Director of the Long
Island Bombers. Ted is a Rockville Centre resident and owner of
Entertainment Unlimited. This is Ted's sixth year playing Beep
baseball.

Mat Sapolin
#11
Mat is an Islip and New York City resident. Mat is the Executive
Director for the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities, in the
City of New York. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the
Bombers. This is Mat's fourth year playing Beep Baseball with the
Bombers.

James Hughes

An original member of the Bombers, James is the 2005 captain of the
team.
James has been playing Beep baseball on various teams since 1991.
James is the proud husband and father to Diana, Sara and Joseph.
James is a Farmingdale resident and teaches A.P. American History and
Government in the Farmingdale school district.

Braulio Thorne
#23
Braulio is a resident of New York City and is in his sixth year with
the Bombers. Braulio is a self-employed entrepreneur an accomplished
musician.

Justin Weilbacher
#21
Justin is 24 years old and has 20/800 vision which stems from
optical neuritis. He currently attends Nassau Community College where
he is majoring in Information Technology. After college, Justin plans
on becoming an IT teacher as well as a computer support specialist.
This is Justin's first year from the LI Bombers and plans to play for
them for many years to come. Justin was the co-recipient of the 2005
MVP award for the Bombers.

Frank Guerra
#33
Frank has been playing beep baseball since 1989 and is a resident of
Waukee, Iowa. Frank runs a kitchen for a midwest convenience chain and
in his off time volunteers for the Waukee YMCA in their Youth Sports
department. He also has an aspiring 12 year old daughter that
volunteers when they are in town.

Nick Esposito

Nick is a City Island resident and recent Graduate of Pace University.
Nick is currently employed as an instructor of English at Lehman
College. This is Nick's third year playing Beep Baseball.

Matthew Puvogel
Growing up, Matthew loved watching the Mets and participating
in baseball, but had to quit when his vision deterorated. Continuing
with his love, he remained as the manager of his high school baseball
team, but longed to play baseball again. Through The Bombers, Matthew
can participate as an active member in the sport.
