The Long Island Bombers speak at the District 20(S) Suffolk County Leo's conference!

The Long Island Bombers were honoured when asked to take part in the first District 20(S) Leo's Conference.
On Friday, March 24, 2006, Susan Bertrand, Justin Weilbacher and stephen Guerra traveled out to Riverhead to speak with the Leo's of Suffolk County.
Held at the Suffolk County Aquarium, the Leo's graciously welcomed the Bombers and listened with keen interest as they discussed all the different aspects of the game of Beep Baseball.
An interactive demonstration involving several of the Leo's, including Chelsea Andrews, the event coordinator, for the conference was done which Sue Bertrand gently rolled the beeping ball to each one of the Leo's as they wore a blind fold, so they could realize how difficult it could be playing Beep Baseball.
Fun was had by all and it certainly benefited both the Leo's and the Bombers on all levels.
The Long Island Bombers are thankful of the donation the Leo's gave and also of their warm and kind hospitality.
We hope during the course of the 2006 season, to list on our schedule where the Bombers will take on a group of Leo's in a game which will be fun for all.
Stay tuned to the Bombers 2006 schedule for more information at: LIBombers 2006 schedule!
